As an update to this original post, all donations need to be obtained by October 7th so they can sort for each mom. They have reached (and capped) the event at 275 military moms. There biggest clothing need at the moment is boys sleepers, so if you have any extra around that you don’t want/need, please consider donating them to this fabulous cause!

Ladies,
If you have items that are “gently used”, we could use them for a baby shower. This is for military mom’s through Operation Homefront of Washington. Here are the details of the shower, which is expected to be for 250 moms! If you have items that you want to donate, please let Christie Malchow know: christie.malchow@gmail.com & I’ll gather up all the items to take. Or, if you’d prefer you can reach out directly to Diana for drop off. She’s been in contact with both myself & Deana, so she’s aware of our group.
When: October 14, 2012 / 12:00 – 3:00 PM
Where: Fisher Pavilion, Seattle Center
Who: All branches of the military from Washington – 250 moms / moms-to-be
Moms who delivered after May 1st, 2012 or are due by April 1st, 2013
Preference will be given to first time attendees to an OHWA baby shower
Details: Moms will enjoy a speaker, a baby fashion show, refreshments and of course a shower of gifts to help prepare for your bundle of joy! REGISTER
